Stephen Brown joined the football staff prior to the 2009 season as a quality control coach for operations and recruiting. He was promoted to a fulltime position as a quality control coach for operations and recruiting in July 2010 and filled that role until the end of the 2012 season.
Prior to his arrival at Syracuse, he was a graduate assistant with Tennessee football for two and a half years, where he worked both in recruiting and operations. While at Tennessee, he worked with current SU staff members Greg Adkins and Kevin VanDerzee.
Brown is a 2009 graduate of University of Tennessee, where he majored in sport management and business. A native of Charlotte, N.C., Brown graduated from Providence High School in 2005.
