Siriki Diabate

    Former Orange standout Siriki Diabate joined the Syracuse coaching staff following his playing career. The 2012 team co-captain led the Orange defense that ranked sixth nationally in tackles for loss. Diabate played for the Orange in 2011 and 2012 after a two-year stint at Nassau Community College, where he was a 2010 NJCC All-American.Â
   As a senior for the Orange, Diabate played in all 13 games, including 12 starts, and recorded 77 tackles, including 10.5 for a loss of  yards. His career statistics include 101 tackles, including 13.5 for a loss of yards, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in 24 games.
   A native of the Ivory Coast, Diabate earned his undergraduate degree in economics and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in instructional design, development and evaluation.
