Mentored 2013 All-ACC selections Macky MacPherson (center) and Sean Hickey (tackle).

Guided the 2013 offense that ran 958 plays, which ranks second in Syracuse history, and had 251 first downs, which ties for fourth in the Orange record book.

In 2004, mentored Stanford tight end Alex Smith, who was a finalist for the Mackey Award

In 2005, coached MAC Offensive Player of the Year, co-MAC MVP and Biletnikoff Award semifinalist Greg Jennings

Has developed 10 collegiate wide receivers who played in the NFL

In 2012, named one of the top 25 recruiters in the nation by Rivals.com

In 2011, coached Miami receiver Tommy Streeter, who led the ACC in yards per catch (17.6)

In 2011, mentored Travis Benjamin, who ranked sixth on Miami's careeer receiving yards (2,146) and receptions (131) record lists.

In 2007-08, coached 2008 All-Big Ten receiver Eric Decker, who finished his career as Minnesota's career leader in receptions and receiving yards and Ernie Wheelright, who ranks in the top five receivers in school history

In 2001-03, worked with P.J Fleck, who ranked third in history in career receptions (179) and fourth in receiving yards (2,162) and was recently named the head coach at Western Michigan

In 2001, developed second-team All-MAC performer Darrell Hill, and Sam Hurd and Dan Sheldon, who both set receiving records at Northern Illinois
