Devin Redd enters his second season at Syracuse in 2025 as an offensive analyst, primarily working with the Orange running backs.
In his first season, he mentored LeQuint Allen Jr. to earn All-ACC honors after recording over 1,500 all-purpose yards. Allen rushed for 1,021 yards and set the program's single-season receptions record by a running back (64) and tallied 521 receiving yards. Redd and the offensive staff helped the Orange lead the nation in passing yards in 2024, en route to finishing 10-3 and top-20 in the final Associated Press Poll.
He came to ‘Cuse having most recently served as the wide receivers coach at Delaware State in 2022 and 2023. In addition to his coaching duties, he served as the Hornets’ Community Liaison Director as well as the Brand Ambassador and Assistant Fundraising Director for DSU Football.
Redd also had stints at Toledo, Rutgers, Seton Hill, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, St. Frances Academy and Calvert Hall. In addition, Redd also has head coaching experience for the St. Louis Stampede of the Gridiron Football League.
During his career, Redd has coached several NFL players, including third-round draft pick and NFL leading rusher Kareem Hunt and two-time Super Bowl winner Isiah Pacheco.
A graduate of Cardinal Gibbons High School in Baltimore, Redd continued his playing career at East Los Angeles Community College where he earned All-America honors. After East Los Angeles, Redd completed his playing career at Southwest Baptist University
