Cody Catalina

A two-year Orange football letterwinner and 2010 Syracuse graduate, Cody Catalina is in his first season as the offensive graduate assistant. Catalina was a student assistant coach in 2010 after a knee injury suffered in 2009 kept him off the field for his senior season.
Catalina played in 20 games as a sophomore and junior. In 2009, Catalina played in eight games at tight end and on special teams prior to the injury. He had 13 catches for 104 yards and one touchdown. As a sophomore, he was one of 35 players to participate in every game, playing primarily on special teams. Catalina began his collegiate career as a quarterback before moving to tight end prior to 2009 Spring practice.
A 2007 graduate of Greensburg Central Catholic High School, Catalina was an WPIAL quarterback as a senior. He also lettered in baseball for the Centurions.
A two-time Athletic Director’s Honor Roll honoree, Catalina graduated from Syracuse in 2011 with a degree in communication and rhetorical studies.
