| Syracuse has earned the AFCA Academic Achievement Honorable Mention award in 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014 and 2015. |
| During Brotzki’s tenure, 14 Orange student-athletes have been honored by the National Football Foundation Hampshire Society. |
| In 2014, Sam Rodgers was named a Capital One Second Team Academic All-American. Rodgers was also a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy (nation’s top football scholar-athlete) and was selected to the AFCA Good Works Team. |
| In 2011, Syracuse had a school-record and league-leading 28 student-athletes named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team. |
| In 2010, Syracuse won the BIG EAST Conference Academic Excellence Award. |
| Since 2009, Syracuse has had 98 conference all-academic team selections. |
