Syracuse Holds at #12 in Week 5 IRCA/IRA Coaches Poll

The Syracuse men's rowing varsity eight remains ranked 12th in the Week 5 IRCA/IRA Coaches Poll, the organization announced Wednesday. The Orange also received strong marks across all three varsity boats and is 10th in the team points standings.
The second varsity eight checks in at fourth in its respective poll, after posting an unbeaten regular season for the first time under head coach Dave Reischman while the third varsity eight is ranked ninth, giving Syracuse a trio of nationally-ranked crews heading into the postseason.
Syracuse will next compete at the Eastern Sprints on Sunday, May 17 at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass., where the Orange look to earn a bid to the IRA Championship Regatta in Sacremento, Calif., from May 29-31.Â
