Syracuse wide receiver Umari Hatcher has been named the Shriners Children's East-West Bowl Offensive Player of the Week, the organization announced Monday morning. The honor follows Hatcher's 13-catch, 224-yard, one-touchdown performance against Louisville.
Â
The weekly award goes to the all-star game-eligible player who displayed the most NFL traits over the past week. Hatcher's outing ranks among the top receiving performances in the country this season, with his 224 yards the fourth most and his 13 receptions the third most by any FBS player in 2026.
Â
It was also just the eighth 200-yard receiving game in Syracuse history and the first since Amba Etta-Tawo went for 270 yards against UConn in 2016. The Louisville game was Hatcher's third straight with at least 100 receiving yards.
Â
The latest recognition joins his Biletnikoff Award Watch List addition and ACC Receiver of the Week honor following the UConn game.
Â
Hatcher and the Orange hit the road this weekend to face North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C. before returning to the Dome for back-to-back home games, hosting No. 23 SMU on Saturday, Oct. 31, and Clemson on Saturday, Nov. 7.
