Syracuse Completes Day Two at Villanova/UD Invite

The Syracuse women's tennis team finished the second day of the Villanova/UD Invite against Temple and Delaware.
In singles play, Anastasia Sysoeva pulled away with the win in three sets against Marianthi Christoforidou of Temple, 6-0, 6-7, (10-4). Monika Wojcik collected the 6-3, 6-3 win over Delaware's Navya Vadlamudi.
Nelly Knezkova played a tough match against Delaware's Maryia Hrynashka, but fell short 7-5, 7-6(5). Lara Russiniello of the Blue Hens grabbed the 6-4, 6-1 win over Constance Levivier of the Orange. In a one set match, Haram Kim dropped to Temple's Nina Andreoni 6-0. Kim played in another set, facing Katie Dollens of Delaware, but fell 6-2.
Serafima Shastova and Knezkova partnered up to take down Delaware's Hrynashka and Paulina Jurkowska 6-1. Duo Sysoeva and Constance Levivier paired up again, winning their match 6-2 against Christoforidou and Thamara Kawaratani of Temple. Wojcik and Kim dropped their match against Delaware's Hanna Vinahradava and Russiniello 6-1.
