
Hutchinson Wins Gold at U23 World Championships

Rising senior Ellie-Kate Hutchinson won gold at the U23 World Rowing Championships in Poznan, Poland, this past weekend. Hutchinson, sat three-seat of Great Britain's women's four which won the A final in 6:29.10. It marks the second year in a row Hutchinson has won a gold medal representing her home country at the U23 Championships. Last year, Hutchinson was a gold medalist in the women's eight for GB.Â
Great Britain won gold while Romania was second and New Zealand placed third in the event.Â
Also representing the Orange at the U23 World Championships this weekend was Mackenzie Tuffin '26 who finished third in the B final (9th overall) with New Zealand in the women's double sculls. Also in the women's double sculls was Antonia Pichott '28Â who placed 14th overall, second in the C final, for Chile.Â
