Tennis Wraps Day One in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Wrapping up the first day of the UB Indoor Invitational, Syracuse University women's tennis picked up wins in Western New York.
Paired with Niagara to face Saint John's University, the Syracuse doubles team of Nelly Knezkova and Constance Leviver picked up a 6-0 win over Noemi Babikova and Victoria Papadopoulou.
Knezkova added a singles win to her afternoon as well, going 6-3, 1-6, 10-5 against the Red Storm's Babikova.
Leviver dropped her singles match 6-3, 6-2 against Nao Kojima while Haram Kim was edged 6-4, 6-2 against Guilia Bizzari.
Syracuse returns to action on Saturday, November 1 back at the UB Indoor Invitational. Action for the Orange is slated for a 3:30 p.m. start for doubles and 4:15 p.m. to get singles action underway. Times may vary based on the length of the day's matches.
