
Soccer Gains Four Class of 2025 Commits

Julia Arbelaez (Somers H.S./Yorktown Heights, N.Y.), Olivia Bozzo (Smithtown East H.S./St. James, N.Y.), Bree Bridges (Colgan H.S./Manassas, Va.), and Abby Incorvaia (Waldwick H.S./Waldwick, N.J) have signed to enroll and play soccer at Syracuse, according to Coach Nicky Thrasher Adams.

Julia Arbelaez | Midfielder | Somers High School | Yorktown Heights, N.Y.
Arbelaez helped Somers to a 14-4-2 record and a spot in the 2024 New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Class A Section 1 title game for the second straight year. She scored 18 goals and 13 assists. Her 95 career goals and 51 career assists rank second in the Lower Hudson Valey. The Tuskers were 23-1, claimed the NYSPHSAA Class AA Section 1 crown, and reached the 2023 NYSPHSAA Class AA semifinals before losing. Arbelaez accumulated 31 goals and 14 assists as a junior. She earned second team all-state from the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Organization (NYSSCOGS) and was a first-team selection on the Westchester/Putnam Girls Soccer All-Star Team. Somers was 17-1 during Arbelaez's sophomore campaign. She had 28 goals and 20 assists and was a NYSSCOGS Fifth-Team All-State pick. Arbelaez tallied 13 goals and four assists in 2021, her freshman season. The Tuskers were 11-4. Arbelaez also played for New York Soccer Club.

Olivia Bozzo | Midfielder | Smithtown East High School | St. James, N.Y.
Bozzo played at Smithtown East High School and produced an impressive 40 goals and 20 assists through four seasons. She was named to the Long Island Newsday top 100 list prior to her last three seasons and was recognized on the Suffolk County All-League Team heading into her senior year. Bozza served as a team captain for three seasons. The Bulls were 7-7-2 in 2024. Bozzo's junior year was her statistical best season (22 goals, seven assists). She earned Newsday Second Team and Suffolk County Girls Soccer All-County. Smithtown East finished 12-4-2. She tallied eight goals and eight assists her sophomore year when Smithtown East went 5-5-2. She was awarded a spot on the Suffolk County Girls Soccer All-County Team. She earned a spot in the starting lineup her freshman year and Smithtown East produced a 12-3-3 record.
Bree Bridges | Defender | Colgan High School | Manassas, Va.
Bridges has had a standout scholastic career at Colgan High School. Following her junior campaign, Bridges was named Washington Post First Team All-Met, first team All-Cardinal District, first team Virginia 6A All-Region, and Virginia 6A First Team All-State. She helped lead her high school team to a 20-2-1 overall record and the 2024 Cardinal Division 6A Virginia State Finals. Bridges contributed four goals and one assist. Bridges also had great success with her club team. She received a Girls Academy (GA) National ID invitation in 2022, 2023, and 2024. The squad reached the Girls Academy (GA) National Semifinals in 2024 and 2023, while posting overall records of 20-2-1 and 25-2-9, respectively. In 2022, the club team won the GA National Championship and finished with a 36-6-5 record. Bridges earned most valuable player. Virginia High School soccer competes in the spring. Bridges was selected as a 2025 Top Five Prep Soccer Virginia honoree.

Abby Incorvaia | Midfield | Waldwick High School | Waldwick, N.J.
Incorvaia finished her scholastic tenure as the all-time leading scorer at Waldwick High School, accumulating 117 goals and 45 assists. She was named first team All-North Jersey Interscholastic Conference (NJIC) three times and first team all-county in 2023. In her senior season, Incorvaia contributed 30 goals and four assists, and the Warriors were 9-5-1. She was named the 2023 North Jersey Interscholastic Conference (NJIC) Player of the Year after helping Waldwick win the league championship and finish 14-4. In 2022, Waldwick was 21-3-1, won the league championship and captured the NJIC Patriot League Sectional Championship. The Warriors were 19-2 and claimed the league crown in Incorvaia's freshman campaign. She has played for Match Fit Academy Club, a squad that won the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) Sectional game. Incorvaia was invited to the ECNL training camp and was named U-17 first team all-conference.
