SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse volleyball (10-13, 7-9 ACC) comes home on Sunday to face off against Boston College (19-10, 10-6 ACC) for the second time this season. The match begins at 1 p.m. at the Women's Building and will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra. Admission and parking are free.

The Orange sit at 899 wins in program history. Head coach Leonid Yelin has 598 career wins with two matches remaining in the 2019 campaign.

LAST TIME OUT
A five match winning streak came to an end for Syracuse last weekend as the team was defeated by Louisville and Notre Dame. The Cardinals swept the Orange and the Irish were victorious in four sets. Polina Shemanova logged 21 kills, two service aces and a career-high 27 digs in Sunday's loss. She leads the conference in five categories: attacks per set (11.92), kills per set (5.10), kills (439), points per set (5.78) and points (497.5).

ALL-TIME VS. THE EAGLES
Cuse's last victory against Boston College came two weeks ago when they handed the Eagles a 3-2 loss on the road. Since their first matchup in 1982, Syracuse has an all-time record of 35-9 including winning four straight matches dating back to 2017. The last time they matched up, Shemanova had 32 kills and three aces, while Yuliia Yastrub, Dana Gardner, and Abby Casiano all had seven blocks respectively. Shemanova's 32 kills in the match rank third in program history for kills in a match.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Boston College enters the match with a 19-10 record, including a 10-6 record in ACC play. The Eagles lost the first leg of their road trip to Virginia after winning matches against Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. Boston College holds an 8-6 record on the road in 2019.

Jewel Strawberry leads the Eagle's offense with 325 kills and 25 service aces. Boston College also relies on Amaka Chukwujekwu on both sides of the net. The junior has 233 kills this season as well as 116 blocks.

Syracuse welcomes Clemson to the Women's Building on Friday, Nov. 29 at 2 pm for Senior Day. The Orange defeated the Tigers in five sets on the road back in September. Admission and parking are free.
