Volleyball Unveils 2026 Schedule

Syracuse Volleyball has unveiled its 2026 schedule, a 29-match slate that pairs a 20-match ACC docket with nine non-conference tests, including a showdown against an SEC opponent in the Women's Building and a home stretch stacked with 2025 Sweet 16 teams.
The Orange open the season away from home for five straight matches. They start in Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, facing Cincinnati and Illinois on August 29 and 30, then head to Ithaca for a three-day, three-match stretch against Howard, UAlbany and Cornell from September 3-5.
Syracuse returns home for the season opener on September 9, welcoming Arkansas in a home opener that doubles as part of the ACC-SEC Showdown at the Net. Four days later, the Orange head to Rochester for a neutral-site clash with Canisius, bringing a pair of Division I programs to the Flower City.
The non-conference schedule closes with the Syracuse Invitational, where the Orange host Fairleigh Dickinson on September 18 and Buffalo on September 20.
ACC Schedule
Syracuse will face every team in the conference at least once, with a second meeting against Boston College, Duke and Notre Dame.
The slate's centerpiece is a pair of home weekends against three teams that reached last season's NCAA Tournament Sweet 16. Louisville visits on September 25, followed by Notre Dame two days later. The following weekend brings SMU on October 2 and Pittsburgh on October 4.
Additional home dates include Virginia (October 23), Virginia Tech (October 25), Boston College (November 4), Miami (November 13), Florida State (November 15) and Duke (November 25).
On the road, the Orange head south for matches against NC State (October 9), Wake Forest (October 11), Georgia Tech (October 16), Clemson (October 18), North Carolina (October 30) and Duke (November 1), before a trip to Boston College (November 8). A West Coast swing follows with stops at Stanford (November 20) and California (November 22), and the regular season wraps in South Bend against Notre Dame on November 28.
Syracuse brings a new-look roster into 2026, anchored by a young core of five freshmen and three sophomores alongside returning outside hitter Marie Laurio. The Orange also add several key transfers, including setter Mira Ledermueller and middle blockers Bo Nijenhuis and Abby Nicholson.
