Tom Forgione began his career as a Student Manager in the Operations Department at the Syracuse University Dome, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a minor in Architecture.

Tom started a long tenure with the Madison Square Garden Company in 2001, serving as the Director of Facility Services at the Hartford Civic Center, home to the New York Rangers AHL affiliate and the University of Connecticut Men’s and Women’s Basketball, and participated in the opening of the Rentschler Field Stadium, home to UConn Huskies football. Returning to New York as the Vice President of Event Production at Radio City Music Hall, Forgione worked on a variety of large scale and special events including Cirque du Soleil Zarkana, America’s Got Talent, MTV Video Music Awards, Tony Awards, NFL Draft, NBC Upfront, HBO Boxing and the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes. Tom also served as the Assistant General Manager at Radio City and oversaw all aspects of the daily operation of the legendary and landmarked venue.

In 2018, Tom served as the inaugural Director of Facilities for The Shed, a mixed-use venue designed to feature special events, visual and performing arts, that is located within the newly developed Hudson Yards campus on the west side of New York City. Participating in the oversight of the final construction phases, Tom led the pre-opening development of the facility operations department.

Tom returned to Syracuse University in 2019 as the Director of the Dome, where he is responsible for managing all business, facility and event operations, overseeing special projects and coordinating with University partners. He and his wife Rebecca reside in Jamesville with their three children, Amelia, Alyssa and Luke.
