Katie Berardi enters her 18th season with the Syracuse University football program in 2025. Her role as the administrative assistant to the head coach began in August 2016, before being promoted to executive assistant before the 2022 season.Â
In this role, she is the primary liaison between Head Coach Fran Brown and Syracuse University staff, faculty, administration, the business community and the general public.Â
Berardi is responsible for all items related to the Head Coach’s office. She is in charge of handling the daily schedule, yearly calendar, general correspondence and travel for the head coach. Berardi works closely with the Director of Operations, Director of Recruiting, Director of Player Personnel, Director of High School Relations, the assistant coaches and support staff to ensure a cohesive office is in place.
Prior to her current appointment, Berardi worked as the football program’s office coordinator from 2007-16. She managed the daily operations of the Iocolano-Petty Football Complex and provided administrative support to assistant coaches, the director of player development, the assistant athletics director for athletic performance and the director of football operations. Berardi also served as a liaison with NFL scouting departments and the NCAA Eligibility Clearinghouse.
Berardi is a Syracuse University alumna. She received her bachelor’s degree 2006.Â
Katie and her husband, John, reside in Jamesville with their son, Giovanni.
