Eli Samuels joined the Athletic Department as an Athletic Facilities and Game Management Intern in January 2023 and was elevated to the role of Operations and Game Management Assistant in the Fall of 2023. In 2025 Eli was promoted to his current title of Athletics Facilities and Event Operations Coordinator.

Samuels is a Syracuse University alum and 2023 graduate of the David B. Falk School of Sport and Human Dynamics.

Prior to joining Syracuse University Athletics, Samuels served in various leadership roles with Wegmans Food Markets, most recently as an Evening Operations Manager where he oversaw total store operations of a 170,000 square foot facility with over 700 employees to ensure that Wegmans continued to be a great place to work and shop for all.

In his current role, Samuels coordinates the daily operation of the John A. Lally Athletic Complex. He also assists with a variety of facility renovation projects, along with overseeing the game day operations of all Olympic sports hosted in each of the venues.

Eli was awarded his MBA from Louisiana State University of Shreveport in 2024 and is a Rochester, New York native.
