2005-06: Competed in the 800 free relay, 500 free, and 400 IM at the Big East Championships ... Took second in the 1000 free against Villanova ... Finished second in the 500 free at Seton Hall ... Placed third in the 200 free at Connecticut ... Finished third in the 200 free (1:56.83) against West Virginis ... Swam in three events at the Yale Nutmeg Invitational ... Was a member of four relay teams at the Nike Cup ... Finished second in the 400-individual medley and the 1000-freestyle at the Army Invitational ... Against Colgate, she placed second in the 200-butterfly and third in the 500 and 1000 freestyle.
2004-05: Competed in the 800 freestyle relay, the 500 freestyle, the 400 individual medley and the 1,650 freestyle at the 2005 BIG EAST Championship...the 800 freestyle relay posted a season-best time of 7:37.43 to finish seventh at the conference meet...scored points for the Orange in the 500 freestyle with a top 16 finish and a time of 5:03.96...placed 12th in the 1,650 freestyle with a time of 17:18.65...recorded a personal-best time of 4:55.72 in the 500 freestyle at the Nike Cup where she placed fourth...had the team's fastest time of the season in the 400 individual medley (4:28.12) at the Nike Cup.
High School: Four-year member of the swim team...set school records in the 200 individual medley, 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle...state champion in the 200 individual medley and the 500 freestyle...state record holder in the 200 IM...team captain junior and senior year...member of the all-state swim team from 2001-2004...a four-time Academic All-American...served as her class historian.
Personal: Born April 1, 1986 in Williamsburg, Virginia...daughter of Cindy and George Homewood...has one sister and one brother...majoring in bio-engineering.
