Senior Year (2011): Team co-captain … Started all 17 games on close defense … One of eight players to start every game … Totaled 22 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers … Part of a Syracuse unit that ranked third nationally in scoring defense (6.90 goals per game) and set a school record for man-down defense efficiency, leading the nation at 81.7 percent … Made his first collegiate start in SU’s season-opening win against Denver … Recorded the first point of his career with a goal against Albany … Only close defender on the roster to register a point in 2011 … Earned BIG EAST Honor Roll recognition (March 21) after holding Johns Hopkins attackman Kyle Wharton without a point, and recording three ground balls and two caused turnovers in SU’s double-overtime win against the Blue Jays … Picked up a career-best four ground balls versus Hobart and against Providence in the New England Lacrosse Classic … Caused a personal-best three turnovers versus Rutgers at the ESPNU Warrior Classic … BIG EAST All-Academic Team ...
