Drew Willson joined the Syracuse staff as Head Athletic Trainer for Football in the spring of 2025. He oversees all phases of athletic training for the Orange, including treatment of injuries, rehabilitation and practice and game coverage.
Previously, Willson served as an athletic trainer at Youngstown State where worked primarily with the football program for two seasons. He also worked with the football team at Georgia and with women’s cross country and football at Northwestern.
Willson earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Michigan in 2012 and his Master’s degree in exercise and sports science from Utah in 2014.
