Jack Stonehouse started his on-field NFL Combine experience on Wednesday.
The Orange punter, who leaves Syracuse as the program's record holder for career and single-season punting marks, arrived in Indianapolis this week to start his NFL Draft preparation.
Punters had team interviews each day, Monday through Wednesday, but saw the field for the first time getting holding reps during the kicking workout. Stonehouse also has media interviews and his NFLPA meeting on Wednesday.
Thursday, Stonehouse will go through on-field workouts and measurements, before ending his stay in Indianapolis on Friday with the bench press.
A transfer from Missouri before the 2023 season, Stonehouse appeared in 38 games at 'Cuse, punting 154 times for 7,055 yards – a program-best 45.8 yards per punt. A two-time All-ACC selection, Stonehouse's average increased each season with the Orange, finishing with a 47.1 yards per punt average in 2025. He has three of the top-four individual average seasons in school history.
Stonehouse had 43 punts downed inside the 20, nearly a third of all his punts went for over 50 yards and only had 14 touchbacks surrendered in his career.
