Jeff Ambrosie is in his first season on the Syracuse staff as the assistant offensive line coach. He brings a wealth of collegiate coaching experience to the Orange.
Ambrosie comes to ‘Cuse from Central Connecticut State where he was a member of the coaching staff since 2019. He served as the Blue Devils’ offensive line coach and offensive coordinator.
A graduate of local Onondaga Central High School, Ambrosie started his coaching career at his alma mater in 1999. He transitioned to the college level in 2004, joining the University of Pittsburgh staff as an assistant video coordinator. He was the Panthers’ offensive graduate assistant from 2004-06, helping Pitt to the 2004 BIG EAST title.Â
Ambrosie served as the run game coordinator and recruiting coordinator for St. Francis in 2006-07 before taking over as offensive coordinator at the University of Rochester from 2007-11. He spent the next five seasons as the offensive line coach at the University of Maine. He has mentored six All-Americans and been a part of four championship teams during his coaching career.
Ambrosie earned his bachelor’s degree from Cortland in 1998 and his Master’s degree from Union College (Ky.) in 2003.
