Student Athlete Opportunity Fund
The NCAA gives member institutions money for the student-athlete
opportunity fund, and allows each institution to use the funds
song long as they are not used for professional development or
camps and clinics. The funds are generally used to lessen the
burden on student-athletes and their teams by helping with
expenses such as medical needs, travel needs, and clothing.
