Senior Year (2013): Named a USILA Second Team All-American and one of the 25 nominees for the Tewaaraton Award, presented to the national player of the year for the second straight season ... Unanimous All-BIG EAST First Team selection for the second year in a row ... Team co-captain ... One of six players to start every game ... Led the Orange in ground balls (55) and second on the team in caused turnovers (25) ... Named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week three times (Feb. 25, March 11, April 29). Earned the award for the first time in his career after holding Army's Garrett Thul scoreless in a 6-2 win, ending Thul's 42-game, goal-scoring streak. Megill also had a season-high four caused turnovers in the contest ... Won BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week again after picking up a season-best five ground balls, causing three turnovers, and scoring his only goal of the season in a 13-11 victory against St. John's at the Independence Classic ...
