2003: Was tied for fifth on the team in scoring with 30 points (24 goals)...had the fourth-highest goal total...scored seven goals in three NCAA Tournament games at the end of the year...scored three goals against Dartmouth in the NCAA First Round and followed that up with a two-goal effort against Princeton in the quarterfinals and two goals against Johns Hopkins in the semifinals...he tied for the team lead (with Michael Springer) with seven NCAA Tournament goals...in addition to the Dartmouth game, he had another three-goal outing (along with an assist) in SU’s regular-season victory against Johns Hopkins...he recorded 19 points in SU’s first eight games...scored against Massachusetts, Georgetown and had two goals in the Rutgers contest...member of SU’s man-up unit because of his accurate, left-handed shot.
2002: Played in all 17 games and made one start…took 50 shots and scored 21 times for a .420 shooting percentage…had four points (3-1) at Rutgers…had at least one point in each of SU's last 11 games…managed 16 goals and six assists during that stretch, including one assist in each of the final four games against Virginia and Princeton…tied for fourth on the squad in goals…dished out his first two career assists against the Denver Pioneers…named to the Fall 2001 Athletic Director's Honor Roll...played on the nation’s No. 1-ranked man-up unit.
2001: Owned the best shooting percentage on the squad (.500)...used primarily on the man-up unit...was the team’s sixth-leading goal scorer (17 goals)...scored at least one goal in 10 of 16 games...notched eight goals in Syracuse’s first four games, but was held without a goal in the Princeton contest...against Brown, he returned to form, scoring twice...of his 17 goals, eight were scored on the EMO...had a career-high three goals against Fairfield in Florida...made his first career start against Hobart and responded with two goals...had five two-goal games, including the final regular-season contest at Georgetown.
High School: Played lacrosse and football at Boys’ Latin...coached by Bob Shriver...recorded 62 goals, 29 assists and had a team-high 100+ groundballs his senior year...he graduated as the second all-time leading scorer at Boys' Latin with 114 career goals and 55 career assists...named first-team all-city, all-county and all-metro.
Personal: Born December 19, 1981 in Cockeysville, Md. ...parents are Richard and Maureen Nee...is the youngest of five children...has two brothers and two sisters...his brother, Tom, played lacrosse at Syracuse from 1998-2001...grandmother is an SU alumnae and older brother, Peter, played lacrosse at Roanoke...majoring in retail and consumer studies.
