Syracuse, N.Y. – Behind two goals from Jackson Kinsler, Syracuse Women's Ice Hockey improved to 2-0-0 on the season with a 4-1 win over Stonehill on Saturday afternoon at Tennity Ice Pavilion. The Orange controlled play from start to finish, outshooting the Skyhawks 63-20.

Kinsler paced the offense with a pair of goals, while Stella Costabile and Jessica Cheung each added one. Stonehill's lone goal came from Peyton Wise, assisted by Julie Morrison and Bella Sacca. Goalkeeper Ava Drabyk finished with 19 total saves, including nine in the second period.

How it Happened

The first period saw a goal by Stella Costabile, her first of the season, assisted by Maryn Broderick and Jordan Blouin.
Stonehill's Peyton Wise put the Skyhawks on the board in the first with assists by Julie Morrison and Bella Sacca.
Jackson Kinsler put the Orange back on top with a pair of goals in the second and third periods.
Jessica Cheung added the finisher in the final minute of the game.
