SU Sets First MBB Pairing With Delaware State

Syracuse and Delaware State are scheduled to meet for the first time when they play on Saturday, November 8, at the JMA Wireless Dome.
The Syracuse-Delaware State Series:
     The Orange return their top two scorers, senior guard J.J. Starling (17.8 ppg.) and sophomore forward Donnie Freeman (13.4 ppg., 7.9 rpg.), from the 2024-25 squad that was 14-19. Third-year coach Adrian Autry has added six transfers and five freshmen to the Syracuse roster.Â

Delaware State
     Delaware State was 16-14 overall and 8-6 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) a season ago. Sam Waterman approaches his fifth season at the helm of the Hornets.  He guided Delaware State to 15 wins and the MEAC Championship game in 2023-24.
