HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. – With the Syracuse University men's lacrosse team advancing to the NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Quarterfinals, ticket and parking information has been released by the host institution, Hofstra University.
Sixth-seeded Syracuse and third-seeded Princeton will clash in a historic postseason rivalry for the 11th time in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, May 17 with a 2:30 p.m. start at James M. Shuart Stadium in Hempstead, New York. The Orange and Tigers will play the second of two quarterfinal games on Saturday, following top-seeded Cornell against upset-minded Richmond at noon.
Presale ticket prices, which includes both games, are $40 for a reserved chair back seat, $30 for general admission, $20 for students and $20 per ticket for groups of 100 or more.
Ticket prices go up on Saturday at $45 for the reserved chair back seats, $35 for general admission, and $20 for students. Group tickets are not available for purchase on the day of the game.
Hofstra is offering Tailgate Alley this Saturday. Large groups can reserve tailgate space in advance in Tailgate Alley. To reserve space in tailgate alley, you must purchase a minimum of 100 tickets at the group rate of $20. There will be limited space available in this area and will be given as first-come, first-serve. Groups will get 2 parking passes for access in this area. In survive and advance mode, No. 5 Syracuse authored its biggest NCAA Tournament comeback victory since overcoming a seven-goal deficit in the 1983 title game against Johns Hopkins. Syracuse rallied out of an 8-2 halftime score to get past No. 12 Harvard 13-12 on Sunday evening at the JMA Wireless Dome.
