
Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2026 Schedule

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse University men's lacrosse head coach Gary Gait, now in his fifth year as the head coach for the men's team, has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2026 season.
The Orange, who went 13-6 overall last season and returned to Championship Weekend for the first time since 2013, will play at the JMA Wireless Dome seven times while hitting the road for another eight games.
Season tickets for the 2026 season are on sale at Cuse.com/tickets. This year's 15 opponents combined to go 142-94 last season, a 60.2 winning percentage, while each team on the calendar this season has made the NCAA Tournament at least once since 2022.
The reigning ACC Champion, Syracuse opens the 2026 season on Sunday, Feb. 1 against Boston University. The Orange return to the Dome for their next two games on Saturday, Feb. 7 against Saint Joseph's and a heavyweight bout on Friday, Feb. 13 against Maryland, a rematch from last season's NCAA Semifinals.
Syracuse hits the road for a month, one of the longest stretches of road games in the last half century as the Orange embark on a six-game road swing. The stretch leads off on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Harvard, another NCAA Tournament rematch. The Orange head for a third-straight Tournament rematch on Friday, Feb. 27 with another showdown with Princeton in New Jersey. Syracuse remains in the area to lead off March, taking on Penn on Sunday March 1 in Philadelphia.
Spring Break sees the Orange head for Baltimore as the sport's winningest two teams, Syracuse and Johns Hopkins, meet for a 64th time on Saturday, March 7 at Homewood Field. For a second year in a row, Syracuse heads for the Rocky Mountains, taking on US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs on Thursday, March 12 before a Monday, March 16 meeting at Denver.
Returning home for the first time in a month, Syracuse hosts Georgetown on Saturday, March 22 for the first regular season meeting between the Orange and the Hoyas since 2013. The following weekend, Syracuse opens ACC play with a rematch of last year's conference championship game against Duke on Saturday March 28.
April action begins on Saturday, April 4 on the road at North Carolina before back-to-back home games on Saturday, April 11 against Virginia and Saturday, April 18 against Colgate to cap the home schedule for the regular season.
Syracuse concludes the regular season on Saturday, April 25 on the road at Notre Dame.
The Orange will look to defend their ACC crown in the Queen City with semifinal action on Friday, May 1 and the championship game set for May 3. The ACC Tournament returns to Charlotte for a third straight season at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
The NCAA Selection is set for Sunday, May 3 with first-round action on campus sites slated for Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10. NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal matchups will be at either the University of Delaware or Hofstra University on Saturday, May 16 or Sunday, May 17.
This year's Championship Weekend returns to campus sites as the University of Virginia hosts this year's NCAA Tournament Semifinals at Scott Stadium on Saturday, May 23 with this year's NCAA Champion to be crowned on Monday, May 25.
