In the victory, Syracuse broke out of a slow start at the plate, beginning just 1-for-13, before going 5-for-10 in the fifth and sixth innings. RBI hits by Madison Knight, Taylor Posner, and Madelyn Lopez powered the Orange to a 3-0 shutout win.
