Syracuse Back To #11 In CRCA Poll

The Syracuse University women's rowing team dropped one spot to No. 11 in this week's CRCA Coaches poll, which was released on April 29.

The Orange have now been ranked either No. 10 or 11 in all eight polls this season. Syracuse had been ranked No. 10 in three of the last four editions of the poll.

Syracuse closed out its regular season last weekend against No. 4 Tennessee, No. 6 Princeton and No. 17 Ohio State at Lake Carnegie in Princeton. The Orange have now raced against six teams currently ranked in the top 10 – No. 1 Stanford, No. 4 Tennessee, No. 5 Yale, No. 6 Princeton, No. 9 California and No. 10 Michigan.

Stanford overtook Texas for the top spot in this week's poll with 2,989 points. Joining the Cardinal and Orange from the ACC is No. 9 Cal, No. 12 Virginia, No. 18 Duke, No. 22 Clemson and No. 24 North Carolina.

Syracuse will now set its sights on defending its maiden ACC title, with the ACC Championships scheduled for May 16-17 at Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.
