
Orange Finish Up At Duke Invitational

Syracuse wrapped up its busy weekend on Saturday at the Duke Invitational.
In the final of the 100-meter hurdles, Taleea Buxton ran a personal-best 13.49 to finish third. She improved on her Friday time of 13.73.
The Orange had three runners compete in the 110-meter hurdles final, with Naseem Smith (14.22) edging Isaiah Lewis (14.27) and Emanuel Joseph (14.32).
Syracuse turned in a time of 40.75 in the 4x100-meter relay with Malachi Coleman, Malachi James, Darrell Gill Jr. and James Nmah running the race for the Orange.
Iaunia Pointer ran a 53.69 in the 400-meters with Xayvion Perkins clocking a 52.75 in the 400-meter hurdles.
Gill and Nmah ran again in the 200-meters, with Gill finishing in 21.92 and Nmah crossing the line in 22.15.
The Orange will compete in a trio of events next weekend at Albany, Cortland and Virginia.
