The Syracuse women's basketball team (10-16, 4-11 ACC) heads to Durham, NC for its final road test of the season against No. 11 Duke (20-7, 11-4 ACC) on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off inside of Cameron Indoor Stadium is set for 2 p.m., with live coverage on The CW Network with a pair of Orange alums on the call as Tom Werme '91 will serve as play-by-play and former women's basketball student-athlete Isis Young '19 is the analyst.
Â
The Orange hit the road after a 68-58 loss at home to No. 9 North Carolina on Thursday night. Senior Georgia Woolley recorded her 12th straight game in double figures, leading the Orange in scoring with 17 points. Syracuse fell short in a comeback attempt that saw SU shoot 6-of-9 from beyond the arc in the second half and with seven different athletes getting a bucket.
Â
Duke enters the matchup after its first home loss of the season last Thursday against Louisville. The Blue Devils were outscored 10-2 in the final 3:02 of the game against the Cardinals and were paced offensively by sophomore Oluchi Okananwa with 17 points. Duke is 11-1 inside Cameron Indoor this season, taking down six conference opponents in that span.
Â
SU and Duke meet for the 13th time in program history on Sunday, last meeting during the regular season a year ago. The Blue Devils hold the overall advantage 9-3, including winning the last four contests. 'Cuse is 1-3 inside Cameron Indoor Stadium all-time, picking up their only victory, 64-55, during the 2018-19 season.
