Syracuse (4-6-4, 0-5-1) heads on the road for a one-game trip to face Miami (6-5-2, 0-4-1) on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 7:00 p.m. at Cobb Stadium.

The Syracuse-Miami Series
Syracuse owns a 8-7-1 advantage in the all-time series with Miami. The Hurricanes own a 5-3-0 mark in Syracuse matches contested in Miami. The most recent encounter came on Oct. 24, 2024, when Miami defeated Syracuse, 3-1.

Syracuse Status
The Orange enter the match in Miami following a tight, 2-1 loss to Clemson, last Sunday.

Senior goalkeeper Shea Vanderbosch has started every game this season. After 14 contests, she has a goals against average of 1.41 and a save percentage of .793. Vanderbosch leads the ACC in total saves (73) and saves per game (5.21). Vanderbosch, who had 11 saves in the Clemson contest, is Syracuse's career leader in saves.

Sophomore Anna Croyle currently holds a squad-best, 32-game starting streak. She appeared in her first start in last year's home opener against Massachusetts. Graduate student Ashley Rauch leads the Orange with 67 carreer starts.

Senior Mia Klammer leads the team in goals (six), assists (three) and points (13). Klammer tallied her sixth goal in matchup with Clemson. She is closely followed by graduate student Ashley Rauch who has four goals, three assists and 11 points.

Miami Status
Miami is coming off of a 3-0 loss to #5 Florida State last Friday.

Sophomore Ciara Alarcon leads the squad with three goals and four assists on the year. She has appeared in all 13 games, and most recently played all 90 minutes in the Hurricanes loss to the Seminoles. Graduate student Bree Severns is right behind Alarcon with three goals and one assist.

Senior goalkeeper Emily Bredek has started in 12 of the the Hurricanes 13 matches. She has a goals against average of 1.50 and save percentage of .735. Junior Atlee Olofson (0.84 gaa., .821 save percentage) has also played in 12 contests.

Around the ACC
Twelve ACC teams were in action on Thursday night. The most noteworthy of the results was #2 Notre Dame rallying from a 2-0 deficit to defeat #5 Florida State, 4-2. The Irish remained undefeated (11-0-1) with the victory. Cal played #1 Virginia to a 2-2 draw in Berkeley, while Louisville earned a 1-1 tie at #13 Wake Forest.

#5 Stanford defeated Virginia Tech, 5-0, NC State picked up a road win at Boston College, 1-0, and Clemson won at SMU, 3-2.
