Regular Season Wraps Up at John Reif Memorial

The Syracuse cross country teams will have one final regular season tune-up before conference championships, competing at the John Reif Memorial on Friday.

MEET PREVIEW:
It'll be a local affair for the Orange, with 'Cuse racing against Colgate and Cornell. Syracuse has traditionally closed its regular season at this meet, racing a small group of individuals with conference championships up next, and not raced a full roster for team scoring.
Friday will be no different, with four runners entered for both the men and women.
ORANGE ENTRIES:
The women will get things started with Lauren Augustyn, Mackenzie Cook, Grace Finnegan and Sarah Lawson.
The men will follow with Omar Alsaidi, Eamon Burke, Asher Danielson and Drew Zundell.
RANKING THE ORANGE:
After a third-place finish at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational, the 'Cuse men leaped six spots in the poll this week, up to No. 6 in the nation. It's their highest ranking since the 2023 season.
The Orange women continue to sit just outside the poll, receiving votes.
