Alford and Rogan Earn ACC Honors

After a dominant sweep at the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational, the Orange swept ACC Performer of the Week honors as well.
Connell Alford and Keira Rogan earned the men's and women's honors after each took home the individual title on Friday.
Alford crossed the line of the 5.2-mile course in 25:27.6, three seconds ahead of teammate Connor Ackley. Alford paced the Orange men to sweep the top-five scoring positions for the second-straight meet, and also place eight runners inside the top-10 for a dominant victory.
Rogan led the women's team to the meet title as well, defeating No. 10 Penn State in the process to pick up a ranked victory. She was the meet's top-finisher across the 6K course in a time of 20:15.1. All-five 'Cuse scorers finished inside the top-12 at the meet.
The Orange are off this weekend, but return to action on Sept. 26 at the Princeton Invitational.
