
Both XC Programs Rise in Poll

Both Syracuse cross country squads moved up from their preseason rank in the first in-season USTFCCCA Poll, which was announced on Tuesday.
The Orange are one of just 17 schools nationally to see both its men's and women's teams represented in the national polls.
The 'Cuse men moved into the top-20, checking in at No. 19 in the first in-season poll. The team has won both meets its competed in thus far.
The SU women rank No. 28, up one spot from the preseason poll, through the first two meets of the year. The Orange return to action on Friday, Sept. 27 at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.
