PITTSBURGH, PA. – Syracuse plays its final regular season road contests April 19-21 at Pittsburgh. First pitches are scheduled for 6 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday's contests air on ACC Network Extra while the finale broadcasts nationally on ACC Network.ÂÂ

Syracuse and Pittsburgh have met 41 times in program history, which is tied with Louisville for the second-most games played against an opponent. The Orange has played Notre Dame a program-best 43 contests. Against the Panthers, Syracuse is 28-13 overall and winners in 23 of the last 28 games in the series, including six straight victories. During that six-game streak, the Orange have outscored Pittsburgh 37-12 with two shutouts. The team's last met on April 2, 2022, in Central New York, winning 5-4 and 1-0.

ORANGE UPDATE:Â
- Wednesday's doubleheader against Canisius was declared a no contest during the third inning of the first game due to unsafe field conditions. The games will not be made up.
- Syracuse won its weekend series at former Big East rival, Seton Hall, April 13 and 14. The Orange swept the doubleheader, 12-9 and 5-3, before losing the finale, 1-0, on Sunday.
- Syracuse has swept its last two doubleheaders after taking both games against Colgate last week.
- The Orange stormed back in the first game of Saturday's twin bill, scoring eight runs in the top of the seventh to secure a 12-9 win. The eight runs in an inning were the most since the Orange plated nine in the fourth inning of the team's 12-1 win against Canisius on April 13. 2022.
- In the win, junior Taylor Posner launched her 11th home run of the season, tying her with Amy Kelley (2008), Stephanie Watts (2011) and Jasmine Watson (2013) for the second-most homers by a junior.
- Sophomore Julianna Verni picked up her fourth save of the season, the most by a Syracuse pitcher since current-assistant coach Sydney O'Hara had five saves in 2016.
- The team's seven saves are the third-most in a season in program history.
- Senior Angel Jasso hit her seventh triple of the year, giving her sole possession of the most three-baggers in a single season in team history. Jasso is tied with Saint Mary's Sam Buckley and Alabama St.'s Kindall DeRamus for the most triples in the country. Her triples-per-game are good for second in the nation.
- Junior Kelly Breen is batting .480 (12-for25) with a 1.199 OPS in eight home games. Verni is allowed one earned run and struck out nine batters across 10 innings in the circle at Skytop, posting a 2-0 record with one save in four appearances.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENT:
- Pittsburgh is 13-28 overall and 4-14 in conference play. The Panthers are 2-8 at home and have played a doubleheader in each of its three home ACC series.
- Kylie Griggs and Cami Compson have both hit 10 home runs this season, accounting for 20 of the team's 39 long balls. Defensively, catcher KK Esparza has thrown out 12 would-be base stealers, tied for the most in the conference with Boston College's Hannah Slike. Both are tied for 12th in the country.
- In the circle, Olivia Stefanoni has appeared 32 times, the most by a pitcher in the ACC. Stefanoni holds a 3-7 record with a 4.63 ERA in 84.2 innings. Kyra Pittman leads the staff with 15 starts and boasts a 7-8 record and 4.75 ERA in 76.2 frames.
