Harberts Earns ACC Freshman of the Week

Freshman Jayden Harberts racked up her first ACC Freshman of the Week honors on Tuesday, following being one of the top rookie performers at the Nuttycombe Invitational over the weekend.
Harberts crossed the line in 21:06.1 on the 5k course. She was the Orange's second-highest finisher in 60th overall and was second among freshmen at the meet. Harberts performance came against a highly-competitive field, which featured 15 teams ranked in last week's USTFCCCA poll.
She is the second Orange runner to earn ACC weekly honors this season, following Sam Lawler two weeks ago, who was named ACC Performer of the Week.
The Orange are back in action this weekend at the Paul Short Run.
