GAME INFO
- Syracuse looks to advance to Championship Weekend for the first time since 2013 with a win over Towson.
- The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 with Syracuse alums Anish Shroff and Paul Carcaterra joined by Quint Kessenich on the call. Brian Higgins and Kyle Fetterly will call the game on TK99/105 and Cuse.TV, with WAER also broadcasting the action.

TICKET INFO
- Fans can purchase tickets on game day or in advance through Ticketmaster, via phone at 302-831-2257 or at the Delaware Ticket Office located at the Bob Carpenter Center (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and on game day).
- General admission tickets cost just $15, with fans also able to purchase tickets in reserved sections A, B, F, G for $20 or sections C, D, E for $25. Box seats are available for $30. Youth tickets starts at $10 for end zone seating, with seating along the sidelines available for $15. College students can purchase tickets in person with a valid ID for $10.
- Parking lots will open at 8 a.m. on game day.

THE TOWSON SERIES
- Syracuse and Towson square off for just the 12th time on Saturday and first time since 2000 in a series dating back to 1972.
- The Orange control the series, 9-2, having won nine-straight against the Tigers.
- This is the first NCAA Tournament matchup between the two programs, with the other 11 contests all having been played in late March.
- The teams did scrimmage most recently in the fall of 2015 at Navy, prior to the 2016 season.

- Syracuse is on its quest for a 12th NCAA Championship (and 16th national title, including four USILA championships).
- The Orange owns some of the best marks in NCAA Tournament play by a number of metrics, including most NCAA Championships (11), highest winning percentage (.729), second-most wins (69) and fourth most appearances (37).

'CUSE IN THE QUARTERS
- Syracuse is 27-5 all-time in NCAA Quarterfinal games, including a 10-3 mark under head coach John Desko.
- The Orange won 25-consecutive NCAA Quarterfinal appearances over 26 seasons in a streak that began in 1983 and ran through 2010 ending with a 2011 loss to Maryland.
- Syracuse had dropped its last two NCAA Quarterfinal games.

DESKO IS THE MASTER OF MAY
- Head coach John Desko took over the program in 1999 and has guided the Orange to 18 NCAA Tournaments in his 19 season, including five NCAA Championships (2000, 2002, 2004, 2008, 2009).
- Desko's clubs combine for an overall record of 34-12 in NCAA Tournament play, good for a .739 winning percentage, which is the second best all-time of any coach who has coached 10 or more games and tops among active head coaches.
- Desko is third all-time with five NCAA Championships, one behind predecessor Roy Simmons, Jr. and tied for third all-time with 34 NCAA Tournament wins with Simmons Jr..
NO. 2 SEED SUITS 'CUSE
- The Orange have been the No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament nine times, having won three of its 11 national championships when slotted in that position.
- Overall, the Orange are 17-6 as the No. 2 seed. The team has reached five national title games as the second seed, and is 6-1 in the quarterfinal round as the No. 2 seed.
- The only seed that Syracuse has been placed more at No. 1 (21-5).

DESKO REACHES 500 SU WINS
- Sunday's win over Yale was head coach John Desko's 500th win as a member of the Syracuse lacrosse program, including his time as a player and assistant coach.
- In four years as a player, Desko played in 35 wins. He won 229 games in 19 years as an assistant coach under Roy Simmons Jr. and currently has 236 wins in his 19th year as head coach.
- Desko has the third-most wins as an Orange head coach, behind Roy Simmons Jr. (290) and Roy Simmons Sr. (253).

- Be the program's 896th victory, second all-time behind Johns Hopkins.
- Improve SU's record to 50-15 since the start of the 2014 season.
- Give John Desko his 237th career-coaching win, sixth among active Division 1 coaches.
- Mark Syracuse's 69th NCAA Tournament victory, the 28th in the quarterfinal round and 18th as the No. 2 seed.

INSIDE LACROSSE PEGS FOUR ALL-AMERICANS
- Four members of the Orange earned All-America honors in Inside Lacrosse's inaugural media All-America teams, including a pair of first team selections.
- Sergio Salcido and Scott Firman were each selected to the first team, while Nick Mariano earned second team accolades and Ben Williams was an honorable mention selection.
DESKO TIES SIMMONS JR.
- Head coach John Desko won his 34th NCAA Tournament game in Syracuse's first round matchup with Yale.
- That's second among avtive coached and tied with former Orange legend Roy Simmons Jr. for the third-most all-time.
- Only Denver head coach Bill Tierney (42) and former Virginia head coach Dom Starsia (36) have more NCAA Tournament wins than Desko.
ORANGE LEAD THE NATION IN ONE-GOAL GAMES
- Syracuse leads the country with 11 one-goal games and sports a 9-2 record in such contests.
- As of May 15, 127 Division I games have been decided by one goal. Syracuse (9-2) has more wins in one-goal games than any other team has games played.
MASTERS OF THE MAN-UP
- Syracuse currently ranks second in the nation in man-up offense (.548), thanks in part to a 5-for-5 game against Hobart in extra-man opportunities. 'Cuse also went 3-for-3 on man-up chances vs. North Carolina in the ACC Tournament.
- Only Johns Hopkins (26/43, .605) has a better percentage than the Orang thus far. Duke (.511) is the next-best remaining man-up team in the tournament, ranking sixth nationally.
- Nick Mariano led the way with three man-up goals against Hobart, and currently sits 14th nationally with six man-up scores on the season.
IN THE CLEAR
- The Orange are clearing the ball at a .919 clip for the season, in part due to perfect games against Siena (23-23), Johns Hopkins (18-18), North Carolina (13-13), Binghamton (13-13) and Yale (15-15).
- If the season ended today, it'd be the most efficient clearing percentage in program history.
-Â Syracuse cleared the ball at a 90.2% success rate in 2016, the fourth-highest mark in program history.
- The Orange finished eighth nationally in clearing percentage in 2016 and leads the nation this year.
- According to research done by the Virginia Athletic Media Relations Office, there have been 29 seasons in which a Division I team has cleared the ball at 90 percent or better, including four by SU.
