SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Orange men's soccer team will host Binghamton in its last non-conference match of the regular season on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. Admission is free and live video of the game is available on Orange All Access.

ORANGE GUNNING FOR THIRD WIN AT HOME
For the first time this season, Syracuse will play consecutive games at the SU Soccer Stadium. The team hosted Marquette in its last contest and welcomes Binghamton to the facility Tuesday.
The Orange won its first two home games of the season, which marked the first time the team had done so since 2007. Syracuse is looking to equal its best home start since 2008 when it won three of its first four games at the SU Soccer Stadium.
POINTS FROM THE BACK LINE
Nearly half of the Orange's points and goals have come from three defenders. Freshmen Chris Makowski, Jordan Murrell, and Skylar Thomas have combined for seven points (three goals and one assist) this season. Makowski fed Murrell for his first career score against New Mexico and Thomas registered tallies against Canisius and Siena.
Their seven combined points are the most points scored by a freshman class since 2006. Hansen Woodruff, Pete Hill and Luis Martinez recorded 22 points in their first year on campus.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Through eight games, Binghamton holds a record of 3-5-0. In the team's last match, the host Bearcats lost a 2-1 decision to Adelphi. Senior Jerome Robinson had the lone goal for Binghamton. Sophomore Chris Hayen made five saves in the loss.
Junior Jake Keegan leads the team in every offensive category. Keegan has 11 points on four goals and three assists. He ranks second in the America East Conference in scoring. Hayen has played five games in goal for the Bearcats. He has 18 saves and holds a 2.00 goals-against average.
Head coach Paul Marco in his 10th season at the helm of the Bearcats' program. Prior to Binghamton, Marco coached at his alma mater, West Virginia. Marco holds a 141-134-38 overall record.
