Men’s Soccer Announces Newcomers

SYRACUSE, N.Y.- The Syracuse men's soccer team added 10 new additions to the fall 2026 roster, Coach Ian McIntyre announced.

"Our staff has worked tirelessly to identify and attract this exciting 2026 recruiting class to our Syracuse soccer family. We believe that we have successfully addressed important departures to our squad with a talented group of players of the very highest character," Coach McIntyre said, "These young men have each succeeded on the soccer pitch and in the classroom. They understand what it takes to be a Syracuse soccer player and they will take tremendous pride in representing Syracuse University, while fully embracing the challenges and demands that we place upon our student-athletes. I cannot wait to get to work with this group and quickly integrate them into our program."

These recruits join Badr Laghjibi, Jackson Miller, and Grayson Lamb who enrolled for the 2026 Spring Semester.

Guesly Alexandre | Montreal, Quebec | Iowa Western Community College

Alexandre represented Haiti at the CONCACAF U-20 Championship and has developed within the CF Montréal Academy. At Iowa Western, he recorded 6 goals and 9 assists while earning all-conference honors and helped lead the program to a national ranking in 2025. He currently competes for CS Mont-Royal Outremont in Ligue1 Québec.

"Guesly is an athletic, technical player who combines extremely well with his teammates. He is a talented player with an outstanding work ethic and drive. He possesses a contagious energy, personality, and passion that I love in players. Guesly is excitingly unpredictable in the final third and our SU fans will enjoy watching him play this fall."

Emmanuel Cophy | Baie Comeau, Quebec | CS LaSalle

An outside back from Montreal, Cophy led his high school Vanier College to regional success. This year he continues to be a key performer for CS LaSalle in Ligue1 Québec and was an important part of the club's 2025 promotion-winning side.

"Cophy is a terrific player that is able to breakup play and then he can quickly transition into attack. He is a very good individual defender who makes those players around him better. He is a smart player that connects the game extremely well, and he has the tenacity and the force of personality to impose himself onto a game."

Reggie Gainer | Washington, D.C. – D.C. United Academy

Gainer has developed in the D.C. United Academy and has gained valuable experience training with the club's first team after being invited to the club's 2026 preseason camp.

"Reggie is a dynamic, athletic, direct player who will fit very well into our system. He has a fantastic work ethic to complement his natural talent. He is a player with an extremely high ceiling, and has the ability to excel in the ACC. I am looking forward to watching Reggie continue to grow as a player here at Syracuse."

Jordan Grey | Ajax, Ontario | University of Toronto

Grey enjoyed a standout freshman season at the University of Toronto, scoring nine goals while earning 2025 OUA East Rookie of the Year and U SPORTS All-Rookie Team honors. Prior to university, Grey played for FC Durham Academy and was the OPDL leading goalscorer.

"Jordan is a talented forward who will add something a little different to our attack. Jordan is a powerful player who enjoys physical matchups, but he can also stretch the game with his pace, movement, and his directness. He is a player who has scored goals at every level that he has played, and we look forward to quickly integrating Jordan into our team."

Pedro Gulli | Beaconsfield, Quebec | McGill University / CS Mont-Royal Outremont

A 6'3" forward from Montreal, Gulli earned RSEQ All-Rookie Team honors at McGill before emerging as one of the top attacking players in Ligue2 Québec. While playing for Lakeshore, he won the Ballon d'Argent after scoring 21 goals in 19 matches. Gulli currently competes for CS Mont-Royal Outremont in Ligue1 Québec.

"Pedro combines size, movement, and a relentless work rate to consistently create problems for opposing defenses. His directness, physical presence and finishing ability adds another dangerous dimension to our attack."

Buster Honeywood | Kessingland, England | Bellevue University

Honeywood joins Syracuse from Bellevue University after being recognized as a 2025 First Team All-Continental Conference selection. Honeywood played 60 games for Bellevue and scored 8 goals and recorded 5 assists.

"We are delighted to add such a talented, experienced defender to our group. Buster is an intelligent player who will also add size and physicality to our team. Buster is a good communicator and a solid organizer of his defense. He possesses the drive and commitment to excel here at Syracuse this fall."

Dakota Jonke | Avon, Ohio | Duquesne University

Jonke scored 6 goals and registered 4 assists for Duquesne University. A very experienced NCAA player, he was also a member of the Cornell University team who battled Syracuse in the 2022 NCAATournament Sweet 16.

"During the past few years, we have obviously seen Dakota's quality up close, and he has always been a tough matchup for our team. He is a dynamic attacking player with pace, directness, and creativity in the final third. His versatility allows him to impact the game in multiple attacking positions as both a scorer and a playmaker."

Kameron Kist | New Albany, Ohio | Denison University

A 2025 First Team All-American and a two-time NCAC Midfielder of the Year (2024, 2025), Kist started 64 games for Denison University and scored 14 goals and registered 20 assists. Kist also earned 2023 NCAC Tournament MVP honors during his collegiate career.

"Kameron has already established himself as an outstanding college player and we are very excited to see him playing in our midfield. He is a clever, confident, and composed player who possesses the ability to dictate the tempo of a soccer match and influence the game with his quality in the final third of the pitch."

Gabriel Oksanen | Encinitas, California | SJK Seinäjoki 

Oksanen most recently played for SJK Seinäjoki and SJK II in Finland. He has played for Real Salt Lake and Philadelphia Union Academies in addition to representing the Finland National team at U17 and U18 levels.

"An athletic right back, Gabriel is a very composed, technical player. He makes the game look very simple, and he is an intelligent player who brings other players into the game. He possesses excellent balance, close technical control, and he will provide us additional quality in the final third. He is a terrific addition to our program who will immediately add personality, leadership, and experience to our team and our locker room."

Dario White | Portland, Oregon | Portland Timbers

White has developed within the Portland Timbers Academy, and he scored on his MLS NEXT PRO debut for Portland Timbers 2. White has scored over 40 goals in the Timbers Academy and has participated in Jamaican Youth National Team camps.

"Dario has the technical ability, creativity and athleticism to make an impact here at Syracuse University. He is very dangerous in transition and has the confidence and aggression to constantly run at defenders and put them on the back foot."
