Raiders Make Dec. 9 Dome Date

SYRACUSE, NY -- Colgate, the most familiar Syracuse foe in men's basketball history, is returning to the Carrier Dome during the 2006-07 campaign. The Orange will host the Raiders on Saturday, December 9, at 7 p.m.
Syracuse and Colgate have met 158 times previously. The Orange have a 113-45 advantage in the series and have won the last 40 pairings between the neighboring schools. Syracuse captured last year's encounter, 58-35.
Colgate ws 10-19 overall a year ago and 4-10 in the Patriot League. Coach Emmett Davis has 11 lettermen and four starters back from the 2005-06 squad.
Syracuse previously announced home non-conference matchups with Charlotte (Nov. 22) and Holy Cross (Nov. 27).
