Nitron Stork joined the Syracuse football staff in January 2024, where he serves as a Defensive Analyst.
Stork came to ‘Cuse after spending the 2023 season at Allen University as the Defensive Backs Coach, helping lead the program to a 7-3 mark. Opposing quarterbacks combined to throw for just 232.2 yards per game against his unit.
Previously, Stork spent three seasons at Florida Memorial University from 2020-22. He developed a secondary unit that set the school single-season interceptions record (15) in 2021.
Stork had extensive high school coaching success at Miami powerhouse Booker T. Washington. He began his tenure in 2009 as a Defensive Backs coach, before being named the Defensive Coordinator in 2014, a position he held until leaving for Florida Memorial after the 2019 season.
Stork helped the Tornadoes win five state championships (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2019) and were named the USA Today Super 25 National Champions in 2013. He helped develop numerous players from the school who went on to play in the NFL, including Chad Thomas (Browns), Matthew Thomas (Steelers / Ravens), Lynden Trail (Commanders), Maurice Alexander (Lions), TyQuan Thorton (Patriots) and Guy Thomas (Colts).
