The starting goalie on the 2013 Syracuse squad that reached the national championship game, Dominic Lamolinara returned to the Orange in 2015 as an undergraduate student coach.
Lamolinara played three years between the pipes for the Orange (2012-14) and recorded a 9.94 career goals-against average, the fourth-best mark in team history.
Overall, Lamolinara made 33 career starts at Syracuse and finished with 288 saves and a .503 career save percentage. His best season was 2013 when he started 15 games and registered personal bests in saves (141) and goals-against average (8.65) to help the Orange to its 17th appearance in the NCAA title game.
A native of Arnold, Md., Lamolinara played scholastically for St. Mary’s High School where he earned All-MIAA honors. Lamolinara began his college career at the University of Maryland in 2011 before transferring to Syracuse.
He is currently pursuing a degree in political science with a minor in coaching.
