
Kingz Signs With Miami Heat

Nate Kingz, Syracuse's second-leading scorer (12.2 ppg.) this past season, has signed an NBA Summer League contract with the Miami Heat.
Kingz, who transferred to Syracuse prior to the 2025-26 season from Oregon State, quickly emerged as a productive offensive player for the Orange. In addition to his scoring, Kingz topped Syracuse in 3-pointers (65), was second in minutes played (1,003) and ranked third in rebound average (3.6).
A 6-5 guard, he was even more effective in ACC contests, averaging 12.8 points while shooting .506 from the field and .406 on 3-point attempts.Â
KIngz scored in double digits 18 times and led the Orange in points in five games. He scored the game-winning basket in the final seconds against SMU, had a career-high 28 points versus Notre Dame, and had 19 points in Syracuse's upset of nationally ranked Tennessee in the ACC/SEC Challenge.
