Nixon is CBS Sports' ACC Coordinator of the Week

Jeff Nixon's offense went into Death Valley and put up 34 points on Clemson's talented defense, and CBS Sports has named him the ACC Coordinator of the Week.
Syracuse ran for 154 yards and threw for 279 in the victory, a balanced effort to take down the Tigers. Nixon has led the Orange to throw for 250+ yards in every game since he arrived prior to the start of the 2024 season. The 17-game streak is the longest in the FBS, with Texas Tech (8) serving as the next closest program.
The streak is the longest for any ACC team since Florida State also had 17 straight over the 1999-00 seasons (information courtesy of Stats Perform).
Nixon shared the honor with Virginia offensive coordinator Des Kitchings, who led the Cavaliers to a 48-20 win over Stanford.
Syracuse will look for its fourth-straight victory on Saturday in the Loud House, hosting Duke at Noon.
