Syracuse (4-1-4, 0-0-1) continues its opening stretch of ACC play on Sunday, Sept. 14, when it hosts #7 Florida State (5-0-1, 1-0-0) at 1:00 p.m. at the SU Soccer Stadium.Â

The Orange come into the contest following a 1-1 draw at home versus ACC foe Southern Methodist. Syracuse rallied from a one-goal deficit on sophomore Vita Naihin's first tally of the fall.
Senior Mia Klammer leads the team with five goals on the campaign. She also has three assists and 13 points. Graduate student Ashley Rauch has four goals and three assists. Freshman Julia Arbalaez recorded her third assist of the season in the draw with SMU.Â
Senior Shea Vanderbosch has started the first nine games of the season and owns a goals against average of 0.59 and a save percentage of .875. She has recorded four shutouts so far this year.Â

The Seminoles have been extremely stingy on the defensive end and have yielded just one goal in six contests. Redshirt sophomore Addie Todd has started five games in net for the Seminoles. She owns a goals against average of 0.23 and a save percentage of .889.Â
Rochester native Wrianna Hudson has six goals, tied for the fourth most in the ACC. Two-time All-ACC First Team forward Jordynn Dudley has two goals and three assists. Yuna McCormack and Heather Gilchrist have three goals apiece.Â

Conference play kicked off this week, with some key matchups already taking place. On Thursday, #3 Stanford battled to a 2-2 draw at Clemson, #5 Virginia defeated #2 Duke, 3-1, in Charlottesville, while #19 North Carolina won, 2-1, on the road against Virginia Tech.Â
