Four Named to ILWomen Power 100 Freshman Ranking

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Four members of Syracuse women's lacrosse's incoming class are part of the Nike/ILWomen Power 100 Freshman Rankings released on Wednesday, Aug. 20.

The list includes Mackenzie Borbi (Shawnee, New Jersey/Shawnee) at No. 22, Julia May O'Connor (Bethpage, New York/Saint Anthony's) at No. 32 and Ella Peers (Fairport, New York/Fairport) at No. 35. All three played in the New Balance All-America Senior Game in July. In addition, Ireland Mistretta (Rochester, New York/Brighton) was named to the Watch List.

The group joins the Orange after they advanced to the second round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament and finished the season with a 10-9 overall record.
