Men’s Rowing Heads to Eastern Sprints Sunday

The Syracuse men's rowing team will line up with the top crews on the east coast for the annual ERAC Eastern Sprints Regatta on Sunday at Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Massachusetts. The racing will be streamed live on Ovrnght.com with a subscription.
Syracuse's first race of the day is the Fourth Varsity Eight (4V8) who will race Princeton, Yale, Penn, Navy, and Wisconsin at 8:10 a.m. The Orange will be in Lane 4.
The Third Varsity Eight is scheduled for Heat 1 against Harvard, Dartmouth, Navy, and Holy Cross. The start time is set for 8:20 a.m. and 'Cuse is in Lane 3.
At 9:10 a.m. the 10th-ranked Varsity Eight will race in Heat 1 against #3 Harvard, #9 Yale, #15 Georgetown and #18 Columbia. Syracuse will line up in Lane 3 and will face three crew for the first time this season having raced Georgetown at Lake Morey just under a month ago.
The final heat of the morning is the 2nd Varsity Eight at 10:20 (Heat 2). The Orange will race Brown, Yale, Georgetown, and Wisconsin from Lane 3.
The top two teams in each heat for the V8, 2V8 and 3V8 will advance to the afternoon's Grand Final while 3rd and 4th place will head to the Petite Final and all remaining crews will race in the Third Level Final. In the Fourth Varsity Eight, the top three advance to the Grand Final and the remaining teams head to the Petite Final.
